Considering Consigning

  • What type of products are you looking for?
    The best way to see if your product is a fit for the shop is drop by and see what we're all about or follow us on instagram for our daily updates. We curate weekly, adding new product to new themes and colour schemes. We completely change up the shop for special occasions and seasons. Ultimately though we are a uniquely ever-changing host of all creative items - paintings, sculpture, jewelry, clothing, handicrafts, seasonal items, outdoor art, vintage items and of course repurposed or upcycled items.
  • What are the terms?
    Our percentage for consignment is set at a low 25% for the store, 75% for the consignee. A monthly curatorial fee of $50+hst is charged to each consignee. This fee helps cover the staffing costs associated with creating fresh displays with your product each week. Our storefront is small and therefore we can only display a few of your items at one time. The fees also serve to cover the costs of offsite storage and product retrieval each week. A lower/higher curatorial fee may be assigned in accordance with the size, volume and amount of product being sold. The length of your contract is a recommended 3 months. If at any point you decide this selling model does not suit you, you may withdraw with 7 days notice before the end of the month. Monthly commitment runs from the first day of the month to the last day of the same month.
  • How do I submit images?
    To be considered as a consignor, please send an e-mail with no more than 5 “small” images of what you’d like to sell or send a link to your website or instagram page. In the subject line of the email, please type: Submissions PLEASE do not drop in unannouned hoping to show us your work. We only accept online applications and consider it a distraction from helping our in-store customers curate their own nest.
  • When will I hear back from you?
    Every application gets reviewed and placed in a file with "like/similar" products. This makes it easier for us when we are curating new displays to bring in new product for a dramatic change. For instance, if your art is themed with bicycles, then your art will be the first to hit the shelves in April. We generally will contact you at the time that we are getting ready to place the art- with a few weeks notice. You do not have to hold product for us - we get it: A sale is a sale! We try to fit every type/style and genre of art so don't dismay if you dont hear from us right away - we are curating to showcase your product in the best fit/light possible. We are human, so if it has been what seems like far too long, please send us a gentle reminder that you feel neglected (lol)
